CULTIVATION METHOD

The juniper tree, measuring from 50cm to 15m in height, grows in sandy and permeable soils. It blooms from April to May. The blooming of the juniper tree is subtle, with the emergence of small cones. It produces both male and female flowers, which are totally different.

Only females produce the famous juniper berry, which can vary in diameter from 4 to 9mm. The juniper berry is produced by the tree throughout its life, i.e. as long has 200 years.
